THE ARTIST! HE BROOOODS!
This looks so much better than the picture I was working from.
Also, I should probably get a wheelchair so I can control you with my mind.
I got really mad at how this one was turning out and just started attacking the paper with the charcoal, then grabbed the oxblood stick and started going at it with that one too. Turned out better for the effort.
I had to rework the right leg about five times. I’m so far past Rob Liefeld right now.
Can’t say I was entirely happy with this one. I mean, it’s representative, but it’s not anywhere near my best work.
I hate cross contours sketches. Getting the concept from my brain to the paper is probably the most frustrating artistic thing I’ve ever encountered.
This one came out worlds better. My teacher agreed and replaced the previous one with it.
Ugh. I spent 20 minutes out of a 1:20 sitting just doing thumbnails to figure out what I was going to do. I didn’t like any of them, but I needed to do something, so this was it. Hands-down, the worst thing I’ve done for this class.
The teacher liked it so much she displayed it in the hall and used it as an example. I was seriously embarrassed.
Oh yeah, suck it, Liefeld. That foot is better than anything he’s ever drawn.
Now all I need to do is get the rest of the body down.
Almost there with the feet. Interestingly enough the model did not look like Robert Downey, Jr.
Same pose as the last one, but I really didn’t like the way that pencil was working out.
